Eyelash Extensions

Do Eyelash Extensions Harm My Natural Lashes

No! Since the extensions are applied to your natural lashes away from the base, never touching the skin, the growth cycle of the natural lash is not affected. I do not use thick or polyester-based lashes that can harm your lashes. The accuracy in the application at Lash & Brow By Wesley is always the key to maintain the health of your natural lashes, and is extremely importance to me.

Brow Lamination

Brow Lamination Aftercare

Just like lash lifting, brow lamination follows the same rules as the first 24 hours being the most critical to ensure longevity. Following the steps below will ensure your brows are healthy, hydrated and strong after a brow lamination treatment. If you do not follow good aftercare post treatment, it may result in brittle, damaged brow hairs.

  • Do not get your brows wet within the first 24 hours. This includes but is not limited to excessive moisture and steam from saunas and baths.

  • Do not apply makeup or receive any treatments around the brow area within the first 24 hours.

  • Use a brow conditioner daily.

  • Avoid rubbing or excessive touching of the brows.

  • Avoid sleeping on your front within the first 24-48 hours.

  • Gently brush brows: After the initial 24-hour period has passed, you can gently brush your brows with a spoolie brush or a clean toothbrush. This helps keep them looking neat and tidy.

  • Use oil free products: Be sure to use only oil free products on your brows, as oils can break down the lamination product and cause it to fade prematurely.

  • Avoid direct sunlight, saunas, or pools for 48 hours: Direct sunlight, saunas, and pools can all cause the brow lamination product to break down and fade prematurely. If you must be in direct sunlight, be sure to wear a hat or other head covering to protect your brows.

  • Use a brow gel: A brow gel can be used to help keep the brows in place and can also help to prolong the life of your lamination.

After the first 24 hours you can resume your normal daily life with your fabulous brows! However, we recommend you use Keratine or/and Biotin. These amazing products will brush your brows up into place and aids in nourishing, strengthening and protecting your brow.

Products You Can Use on Laminated Brows

Here are some suggestions:

  • Brow gel

  • Brow powder

  • Tinted brow mascara

  • Brow pencil

These are just a few of the many products that are safe to use on laminated brows. But remember, avoid any products that contain oil, as this can break down and fade the lamination product.

How Often Should I Wash My Brows?

It is important to wash your brows daily, especially if you have oily skin. You should use a mild cleanser and avoid any harsh chemicals or scrubs. Gently pat your brows dry with a clean towel after washing them.

How Often Should I Get My Brows Laminated?

Brow lamination is typically a temporary treatment, and it can last anywhere from four to eight weeks. However, everyone’s skin is different, so some people may find their brow lamination lasts longer or shorter than this. If you want to maintain your results for as long as possible, it is best to re-laminate your brows every 4 to 6 weeks.
